Virginia-based singer Jan Smith writes and performs evocative, memorable songs rooted in the classic country and bluegrass music of her upbringing in a small town near Louisville, Kentucky. In concert and on recordings, she is joined by her husband of seven years, Jeff Vogelgesang, who plays mandolin and guitar and sings harmony vocals. They also perform in trio, quartet, and quintet configurations.
